Good details to include
Include whether the issue involves live throughput, Wi-Fi scanning, channel analysis, diagnostics, reports, pairing, QR scanning, widgets, Shortcuts, or the NetSward Pro unlock. Please remove any SSIDs, BSSIDs, MAC addresses, IP addresses, pairing fingerprints, or private network names you do not want to share.
Purchases and restore
NetSward Pro is a one-time App Store purchase. If Pro does not appear unlocked, try Restore Purchases from the app first, then contact support if it still does not resolve.
Pairing a Mac
- Put the Mac and iPhone or iPad on the same local network.
- Start a pairing invitation on the Mac and scan its QR code from the mobile app.
- Confirm the Mac name, node ID, public-key fingerprint, and expiration before trusting it.
If the invitation is expired or the camera cannot read it, create a fresh invitation and check Camera and Local Network permissions. Pairing is optional; mobile evidence remains available without it.
When Wi-Fi details are unavailable
On iPhone and iPad, check Location When In Use, Local Network, and the system Wi-Fi information permission, then return to NetSward and refresh in the foreground. A denied permission is shown as unavailable rather than as a fabricated network or zero-valued measurement.
When a widget looks stale
Open NetSward in the foreground to refresh the saved projection, then return to the widget. Widgets and background intents do not continuously monitor Wi-Fi, reconnect to a Mac, or run diagnostics; they show the latest available, aging, or offline projection.
Privacy-sensitive reports
Network reports can contain technical details from your devices. Review exported reports before sending them to support, especially if they include local interface names, Wi-Fi labels, coordinates, paired-Mac evidence, or diagnostics output. NetSward does not require a report for ordinary support questions. See the privacy policy for storage, pairing, widgets, and deletion details.
Clearing local data
Privacy & Data on macOS and Privacy & Support on iPhone/iPad can clear locally stored evidence, caches, reports, and pairing credentials owned by that device. This does not erase Mac-side trust or files exported elsewhere. If a credential or file cannot be removed, NetSward leaves a retryable state and tells you what remains.
